The Evil of Abortion

America has been going downhill in about every facet of life for quite a few years now. As our country is getting more and more liberal with legalized abortion, gay marriages, unchecked immigration, etc., we are in a free fall. God is being removed step by step from schools, town squares, political speeches, and believe it or not some Christian churches and new Bibles.

To me, legalized abortion is the main problem. The murder of Gods creation in the women's womb is about as evil as anything on earth. How a woman can kill her own baby, whether in the womb, or out, is beyond evil. If a woman can kill her own baby, how much regard does she, or the assenting father, or the abortionist have for your baby?

As Mother Teresa once stated at a National Prayer Breakfast - in 1994 - in Washington DC - with President and Mrs. Clinton in presence (both Clintons are in agreement with abortions) "I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against a child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself. And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?"

Her argument was so powerful there could be no rebuttal.

Note: the above words of Mother Teresa are taken from the book "Abolishing Abortion" by Rev. Frank Pavone.

In his book, Rev Pavone goes on to quote the Roe V. Wade decision in 1973 "The word 'person' as used in the Constitution does not include the unborn". We need to understand what the justices were saying, and what they were not saying. In essence, they were saying, "Yes the child might be human - we can't say for certain - but we do have the authority to say you can kill it, regardless."

Now, if the court had said, "We have concluded that the unborn are not human, and thus we acknowledge your right to abort them," this would have still been a wrong decision, but at least it would have preserved the principle that no government can authorize the killing of the innocent. But the justices did not preserve that principle. They subverted it, they established a different government that our Founding Fathers established.

We need to understand the seriousness of this reversal. What the Supreme Court said in Roe was, "We are now declaring that we the Court, we the Government of the Unite States, have the authority to remove some human beings from the protection of the Constitution. We have the authority to remove this protection not based on the humanity of the unborn, or lack thereof, but because we say so."

Mother Teresa in her Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech of December 11, 1979, said:

"Many people are very, very concerned with the children in India, with the children in Africa where quite a number die, maybe of malnutrition, of hunger and so on, but millions are dying deliberately by the will of the mother. And this is what is the greatest destroyer of peace today. Because if a mother can kill her own child - what is left for me to kill you and you kill me - there is nothing between."

Think about this when you vote for the president, or any politician in the coming elections. When you vote for a candidate who is pro abortion, you are abetting murder, and someday, whether you believe it or not, you will answer for that. There will be a day when you will be facing Jesus Christ, and you better have some good answers as to why you backed up people who made it legal to kill His children, His Creation.

God Bless You
